We are extremely proud of our caravans. We have designed our Caravans from the floor up with care and precision, taking into account comments from the public and tailoring them to the needs of caravanners in the UK. On top of this, our vans are NCC approved, but what exactly does this mean?

All touring caravans sold in the UK must meet the minimum UK safety standards and regulations. NCC Approved models must also meet more comprehensive health and safety standards set by the British Standards Institution (BSI) and European Standards body CEN.

Any NCC approved caravan that bears the NCC BS EN 1645 Approved badge has had rigorous testing conducted on all aspects of it, from structural rigidity to electrical and gas safety,  to ensure it is legal for use on UK roads and safe for you and your family. Approximately 600 physical checks and tests are carried out on every prototype model manufactured by NCC members so you as a customer can be confident that the caravan you are looking at purchasing is high quality and safe.

The NCC conduct testing on the following areas:

  • Structural Rigidity
  • Chassis and Undergear
  • Weights and Dimensions
  • Road Lights
  • LPG (gas) System
  • Electrical System (230v + 12v)
  • Appliances and their Installations
  • Heating System and Thermal Performance
  • Ventilation System
  • Bedding and Upholstery – Flammability
  • Bunkbeds – Strength & Entrapment
  • Windows/Doors/Emergency Escape
  • Safety Signs and Equipment
  • CRiS Checked

Every Stealth Caravan that we manufacture is NCC Approved meaning that it is safe for you and your family, it is safe for use on UK roads, and it meets all of the applicable NCC standards. With the NCC badge of approval to boast, Stealth Caravans are built to the highest industry leading safety standards and quality.
